2025 Himalayan Moondrops

A lightly oxidized oolong from the autumn harvest - a rare rarity, made from the most delicate young leaves and buds, which are carefully rolled into small pearls by hand. Shaped between the fingers with exceptional precision, the result is a tea of the highest refinement. The leaves come from selected cultivars that thrive at an altitude of over 2,200 m in Ilam, Nepal - in one of the highest tea gardens in the world. The fresh high mountain climate and fine handcrafting give this tea a multi-layered, exceptionally aromatic infusion. The taste reveals floral and honey-like notes, raspberry jam, green vegetables, sweet peas and a fine umami reminiscent of exquisite green teas.
